World of Yo-Ho is a fantasy game of adventure and piracy on the high seas. It’s a new type
of game, for 2 to 4 players, that combines the tangible and social pleasure of a board game with the interactive mechanics of a video game. Become the most famous pirate of this parallel world full of intelligent animals, lost islands and wild magic.
• Your phone is your ship! It knows where it is on the map, it moves around the board it interacts with other phones !
• Outwit your fellow pirates. prepare your actions secretly by holding up your phone, then put it back on the map to share the results with your friends and/or foes!

Fantastic game!!! It was the first game to use your phone as a pirate ship playing piece. Its a simple pickup and delivery game but the ability to grow and add content it limitless. You need the actual board game to play. I hope they keep maintaining this and develop both a second edition and some sort of method for players to submit new jobs.

This is what I expected when buying the board game. Gameplay gripe - some things (like the crab) should scale to the player count. Gameplay praise - simple enough to understand after your initial playthrough. App gripe - despite "only" using the Wifi, a WAN connection seems to be required to start a game. App praise - the tooltips always provide enough info to avoid looking in the rulebook.

Great game! I hope they continue to update. Definitely need more captains and ship options. Also, app will glitch while playing sometimes.
